Art:
Drawing (from life and from my head or a combination of the two).
Recently I've started getting back into my art and doing all this freaky line shit... um so yeah. I'll prob upload some at some point or other when I can get hold of a scvanner or something.
Making animated films (both experimental kinda fine arty ones and cheeky cartoons).
Video Games:
The bane of my life. Not quite so much at the moment. Not until Final Fantasy XII comes out in the UK. Following this my bastard cousin switched his broken PS2 for my not broken one knowing full well I wouldn't have the balls to say owt. Grr. So yeah. Never ended up getting that game. Viva Pinata sucked too. Although it still was sooo cute. But yeah...
.
I guess i smoke a lot of weed but that's not really an interest. It's just kinda nice.
I'd like to meet:
Um. Lots of people, I guess. As long as they're nice, considerate and open minded. Preferably not evil, bigoted or extremely religious to the point of bigotry (i.e. problems with gay people, recreational drug use, male or female nudity, swearing/cursing, pornography, open mindedness, and freedom in general). Or total gits.
Or Hunters and fishermen!! Um... and people who are involved in battery farms, McDonalds, sweatshops, fanatical religious groups, the BNP, Polo shirts, My Chemical Romance, Death Metal bands, Creed and children.
Oh. And I'd love to meet these guys. :)
Music:
Radiohead, Primus, The White Stripes, Pearl Jam, Queens Of The Stone Age, Soundgarden, Beck, Bjork, Robert Plant, Chikinki, Phish, Wellwater Conspiracy, The Mars Volta, The Knife, Lemon Jelly, The Talking Heads, Jack Irons, Sleater Kinney, Eenor, Chris Cornell, Les Claypool, Kings Of Leon
I generally like bands that have thier own distinct sound (sounds obvious but I think it's a really difficult thing to achieve. In the 60's when the Beatles were responsible for the birth of pop and rock music as we know it I think that once those were established it probably wasn't that hard to come up with stuff that hadn't been done before. By the time we got to the 90's most basic pop genre's had been born and developed to quite an extent and I think that's when it got really interesting because musicians really had to pull it out of the bag to stand out and not be another led zep or pink floyd or guns 'n roses rip off. With the exception of Oasis who just ripped off the Beatles and released the top selling album since the 60's. But they don't count.).
Movies:
Shaun of the Dead, Ed Wood, Ghost World, Fear And loathing In Las Vegas, Catch Me If You Can. Probably a bunch of other stuff. Can't really remember that well (have the memory of an 80 year old. I blame fascists. it's usually their fault.). So yeah... Oh wait! Ice Age!! An awesome film. For anyone who hasn't seen it: Watch it! It's immense. The tiger dies n it's really depressing then he's not dead and you cry loads and loads and... *cough*
Television:
Beavis and Butthead, Family Guy, King Of The Hill, The Simpsons, robot Chicken, Futurama, 24 and Lost. And probably a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. Did I mention Robot Chicken? Check it out. It's good.
