DJ Spekky (Real name Toby Bamford; born in Winchester, UK) is a drum & bass producer and DJ from the south of England. Producing since 2004, he cut his teeth in the world of music production after learning the basics from his older brother Alf Bamford (Technikal - Strike Artists / Tidy Trax). He has experience in production far superior to many of his elders. Now the fourth member of Circuit-Breakers, A group of Drum n Bass Producers / DJ's, Who are playing in / around local areas.
He is Also Part of D&B Duo - Alien Species, Where he has collaborated with DJ & Producer DJ Hightower (myspace.com/djhightowercircuitbreakers)
He picked up his talent on the wheels of steel after aquiring his first set of decks early 2006, and hasn't looked back since. Described by his peers as a 'natural talent', Toby is accelerating in his ability to seamlessly blend tracks; whilst at the same time expressing a genuine passion for what he does. After just over a year of mixing, he has already got his own internet radio slotshow. (Wednesdays 4pm - 6pm). Charismatic and able - Toby is looking like a star of the future.
For the rest of the year, Toby is setting his sights on completing a showcase artist album named "Dictator Takeover", It will include a mixed variety of drum and bass ranging from 'jump up' all the way to 'liquid' He hopes to secure as many big name DJ appearances in the south as possible.
