Recognized up and down the south coast as one of the most inspiring up and comings breaking onto the scene, DJ Klip wasted little time discovering his love for mixing, acquiring decks at the tender age of eleven. At this stage the budding DJ divided his time mixing up a variety of genres ranging from House to Hip-hop while finding his feet on the turntables, but eventually turned to a more devoted interest in Drum & Bass due to a growing fascination with the sounds he clocked on early Dreamscape tape packs. At the still tender age of seventeen, Klip decided to start making his own mark on the scene and took his own step into promotion; despite not entirely avoiding controversy amongst local organisations in the process, it was roundly agreed that his drive and determination would take him far. A committed vinyl junkie, he made himself further at home within his local scene when offered a job at Trip 2 Records. Soon his potential as a DJ was recognised by the owner, who in turn offered him his first serious exposure with a residency at local night ‘Paradox’.By the age of eighteen, wider exposure was coming Klip’s way with bookings all round the UK, laying down his sound from the Opera House in Bournemouth to out-door parties like the Sanctuary Festival and entertaining thousands in the process. Earning promotion to the position of manager at Trip 2 Records, he wasted little time making the next step up and landing his first release ‘Street Fighter / Um Bongo’ on Late Licence Records. Soaring to the top of the Nu-Urban Distribution charts, this 12 remains successful to the day.To book DJ Klip please contact Innovation Artist Management:TEL: +44 (0) 871 288 4042
