Ozan Musluoglu was born in 1977, Dachau / Germany, started playing bass at the age of 16. In 2000, he enrolled to Istanbul Bilgi University Music Performance major with full scholarship where he studied privately with Volkan Hürsever, James Lewis and Kürsat Ant. Since then, he played with most of the professional jazz musicians in Turkey, done workshops with bassists like Marc Johnson, David Friesen, Dominique Lemerle & Robert Balzar and he had the opportunity to play with some jazz musicians like Marcus Miller, Roy Hargroove, Willy Jones, Eric Reed, Erik Smith, Katy Roberts, Leslie Harrison, Saskia Laroo and Bernard Maury in various jam sessions and club dates.....The jazz festivals that he performed are; 2003 Istanbul Jazz Festival 2003 Akbank Jazz Days 2002 & 2003 Afyonkarahisar Jazz Festival 2001 Bodrum Jazz Festival ....He was a member of Athena and actively playing and touring with them since 2003. 2004 Athena represented Turkey in Eurovision Song Contest, where 36 countries attended and became 4th.........2006 Bratislava Jazz Festival with Jef Giansily Trio
