Musical Style
Krugger Flaps belong to Paris' electro new school. Through the extensive use of their machines and synthesisers, they have gathered the original party spirit of RocknRoll. Greatly inspired from Electroclash, Electrorock, Newrave, Techno, but also from the best of the eighties, they have created a style that worships the most insane years of RocknRoll on one hand, and the wonders of modern technology on the other. An undeniable sense of groove along with powerful rhythms transform their music in a dancefloor devastating machine which should take care of the chilliest clubber! Krugger Flaps is more than just a music, it's a lifestyle : Sex Champagne and RocknRoll!!
Curriculum
Pierre Delort aka Dolph Klein PIerre Delort is born in France in 1982. He started music at the age of 13 when he discovered computer music. As a really big music fan he listened to all sort of electronic music : techno, jungle, house, bigbeat, trance, which forged him a really eclectic ear. Also a rock from the seventies and the eighties amateur, he began working with a rock band called Krysalis, at first helping them with sound engineering, then joining the group as a keyboard player in 2002. Active member of the French electro underground scene since then, Pierre played in many clubs in Paris and over Europe with his different projects. He had been friend for a few years with Wilfried, another very active member of the electro scene in Paris when they started the Krugger Flaps project. Pierre has also a very active background on the world trance scene. Founder of the Principles of Flight project, along with Remy Maurin, in 2004, their first album " Night Time Lullabies" came out in december 2006. Since summer 2004 they have been touring all over Europe.
Wilfried Decaesteker aka Scott Lundgren Wilfried is born in france in 1977. As a teenager, his love of rocknroll rapidly led him to play the guitar. Training day and night, his hard work began to pay, and he started to play in an acid jazz band. But in his research of novelty, he rapidly put aside his guitar and started tweaking machines and producing electronic music. This engaged him pretty quickly in the French electro scene in which he toured for a couple of years under different projects. None of these however brought him so much pleasure as Krugger Flaps. When he started the project with Pierre in 2006, he rediscovered his love of Rock music and guitar. Their collaboration was really impressive in terms of inspiration and production. In less than six months they had a live set ready and banged one of Paris most renewed club : Le Batofar Wilfried has also an active background on the trance scene. In 2003 he started playing as Phonic Request. His debute album was released in june 2006, and he has been playing in parties all over europe for the past two years.

Krugger Flaps influences are wide but the main inspiration comes from : Vitalic, Daft punk, Eric Prydz, Alter Ego, Sebastian, Tangerine Dreams, Vangelis, Pink Floyd, Kiss etc...
