About Me


Danish metal quintet MUDSLIDE was formed in Denmark in 2003 on one cold, misty, beautiful winter evening. The band consists of a handful of young musicians (all aged between 19 and 21) that, sprouting from a fast-growing new generation of Danish metallers, strive to separate themselves from the pack with an uncompromising cocktail of thrashy, thundering beats, powerful riffs and melodies, a straight-to-your-face attitude, groovy hooklines and even rock'ish passages.
Despite the young age of the members in MUDSLIDE, they already have achieved quite a bit of experience. Over the years the band has played numerous concerts before thousands of people, created a solid fan base, played with such bands as KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, TEXTURES, THE RED CHORD, MISERY INDEX, ORIGIN, FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW, THE PSYKE PROJECT, SUBMISSION, THE DOWNWARD CANDIDATE and MERCENARY and recorded a total of 2 EPs that reveal a rapid progression over this relatively short period of time.
MUDSLIDE recently recorded a new 5-track EP with new drummer Chris Kreutzfeldt. The "Vultures" EP shows a new, more mature, more focused and more intense MUDSLIDE. Produced and recorded by the band members themselves, and with artwork by singer Morten Christoffersen, the band has strived to express their artistic visions in every aspect of the new outing, and with mix and mastering by Tue Madsen of Antfarm Studios a true metal monstrosity - sure to claim the attention of the metal community - has been born.
