Influences: COMPOSERS / ARRANGERS / ORCHESTRATORS
John Williams (anything), Danny Elfman (Nightmare Before Christmas, Batman, etc), Michael Giacchino (the Incredibles, Medal of Honor video game, Alias) Michael Kamen's work on Metallica's "S&M: Live with the San Fransico Symphony" project (amazing!!!!!), Jeremy Lubbock (Symphony Sessions, etc), David Foster (just about anything he produces including the Symphony Sessions, and the incredible project he did with Kenny Rogers), Steven Scott Smalley (so much to talk about...), John Powell (X-Men 3...one slammin' score), Trevor Rabin (National Treasure, etc). I'm a film composer fanatic. I also love classical music. Among my favorites: Copeland, Mahler, Ravel, Faure, Rimsky-Korsakov, Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky, and Rachmanioff. (There's a theme here)Presently I'm working with Ron Owen, who composed the score for the movie "End of the Spear" and "Beyond the Gates of Splendor". Ron is amazing and I'm learning a ton working with him. I'm looking forward to the next few months that we will get to work together. I'm starting work with composer Phil Copeland on a special project. Phil has won two Emmy Awards for his music. One for his music for ESPN and his other Emmy was for music that he composed for the tv soap the "Guiding Light". Both Phil and Ron have become tremendous mentors to me that I highly respect.GROUPS
Tower of Power, Earth, Wind, and Fire, London Symphony, London Philharmonic, Boston Pops, Cincinnati Pops, Bruce Hornsby, really any great orchestra.
