Hi, my name is Brad Pitt and I am the operations manager at FedEx. I am a very hardworking business man. The company would be lost without me. I don't like to brag...but I do have a lot of responsibilities.

If you're wondering what makes my job so difficult, yet fun, let me fill you in. Operations managers apply the management process, which consists of planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling- to the decisions they make in the OM function. Operations managers translate strategic objectives into clear operational objectives. They are also responsible for the design of products and services as well as the implementation of processes to produce products and services. Simply put Operation Managers make strategic decisions about how to produce goods and services and come up with the most effective way to produce goods and services.

Now doesn't that sound impressive? ;)
