Films...oh that's a category later on, um, writing? Reading. Philisophical debate on the lower level, for instance how do dolphins sleep (the answer is quite interesting) and does it freak you out that cats are cats? That's not philisophical, it's just a question. What is philisophical? If the world is a figment of my imagination, why would I imagine football (which bores me) and why wouldn't I have given myself more money and so on? Ergo, the world is definitely not my doing! That sort of stuff. I have a sort of inherited interest in horses but it's such an expensive interest it hardly ever gets indulged. Big fan of comedy. You can't get too much laughter and humour is the fastest way to my heart!
I've never thought about who I'd like to meet. Any major films fans is good because that's pretty much all I can talk about. And anyone who wants to meet me! All the actors and so on that I admire and what not I think I'd rather not meet because I'd hate for my illusions to be shattered. I'm sure they're mostly lovely but I'm also sure some of them aren't! :) Fantastically, though, Flixster has allowed me to make a wall of my favourite actors so here they are!
Snow Patrol, The Fratellis, Franz Ferdinand, Placebo, Frou Frou, The Zutons, Muse, Nina Simone, The Feeling, Ludivico Einaudi, Vanessa Mae, Supertramp, Aimee Mann, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash I'll admit it - BRITNEY SPEARS! Kelly Clarkson. Is that bad? Really? I prefer soundtracks to films, original scores that is. I don't really get the whole music scene I'm not a music person! I love soundtracks though and quite a lot of classical music. In terms of other stuff, though, if it's good to sing a long to, I'll like it. That, or, it's very moody, depressing music (it's not depressing to me but that's how I've heard other people describe my taste in music...that and crap, lol!)
Are you ready for this?
Nip/Tuck, Scrubs, Desperate Housewives, Kath + Kim, Simpsons, Futurama, Malcolm in the Middle, Boston Legal, Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, Spaced, The Book Group, Peep Show, My Name is Earl, South Park, Mighty Boosh
The Great Gatsby, The Eyre Affair (and the rest of the Thursday Next series), Jane Eyre (The Eyre Affair made more sense after I read that), The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, A Widow for One Year, A Prayer for Owen Meany, The Time Traveller's Wife, The Talented Mr. Ripley, any Julian Barnes or John Irving book, Seabiscuit, Starter For Ten, A Scanner Darkly and Lord of the Rings.
My cat, Tigerlily who I've had for years and years and named after Princess Tigerlily in Peter Pan! Kermit the Frog and all the Muppets really, especially Gonzo. In terms of superheroes Spidey's always had my vote but after seeing Superman Returns I realise it's best to be behind him because, well, no one's better than Superman! What do you mean that's not what 'Heroes' meant?
