born in germany spending some years in Ivory coast, YOUTHYAPI grew up in south germany.
after learnin a classical instrument, the viola, he started to play the guitar.
through the inspiration of black music, especialy reggae, he tried to wright his first lyrics and started to sing his own songs!
The BABY LIONS was the first project where they played deeply roots reggae straight from the heart! an unforgetable period of his life!
Later YOUTHYAPI was backing acts like CRYSTAL AXE, STEVIE CULTURE, HI JOHN SHAFARI or MRS PHE-PHE as guitarist of THE UNITED NATION BAND!
Untill today he is playin with his bredren, CHRIS TUFF, BASSIELOVE, PAPA IRIE, and TIMO TIGHT as the great HEAVYWEIGHT ALLSTARS! Performin all songs of all Bandmembers.

2002 YOUTHYAPI met some young musicians well known as YOHTO, playin beats from electro to dancehall. Together with JAHNERAL MISTY FU he is lifting up the vibes on the mic!
