Honestly, I'm just a kid that has survived his own self, through God's grace!!! My birth name is James Golding, but most people know me as (Japhia Life). I was born & raised in Philly. Philly is a music city. That being said, I have been granted the gift of music, which has allowed me to work with some of the most creative people that I've ever met. I grew up with a piano in the house, (my Mother sings and plays). I wrote my first song "Hey Girl", when I was 12 years old. Too this day I can't decide who is my favorite artist of all time. I'm torn between (Stevie Wonder & Phil Collins). There are 3 songs that have allways made me cry when I was a kid, and they probably still can, (My Angel:Anita Baker, Somebody Loves You Baby:Patti Labelle, & Meet Me On the Moon:Phylis Hyman). I think that music can reshape the world as we know it, and I plan on continuing to use the tools God gave me to do so. Aiight, holla @ ya boy!!!
