Alan Parr’s career as a trumpeter has taken him to many of the world’s
music meccas, playing with some of the biggest names in the commercial business.
His experience in Los Angeles ranged from studio work such as the movie
soundtrack of “Air Force One†and the 1988 Olympic Fanfare, to playing for
such notables as Doc Severinsen, Slide Hampton, and the Glenn Miller
Orchestra. Serving for over ten years in the U.S. Air Force, Al has played
extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe. He has earned the respect
of classical and jazz players alike. Throughout his career, Al has encouraged
young talent through teaching and mentorship.
