Jason Sadangs music career began at a very young age. Understanding fundamentally what it took to make music, becoming an accomplished musician seemed only natural when playing with island greats like The Danny Kapoi Trio, The Waiehu Sons, Ohana Kahaialii, Kealii Reichel and Uluwehi Guerrero...
Playing music has taken Jason to Canada, Japan and the infamous Carnegie Hall. He has also played at numerous events throughout the islands. Being an accomplished musician has allowed him to play a wide array of genres including Traditional Hawaiian music, R&B, Jazz, Reggae and the ever popular Island music. Having this experience has taken Jason from being onstage in front of thousands to behind the scenes being the engineer in the studio that makes it happen!
Jason's growth musically has been phenomenal and he is thankful for the many blessings which has brought him to this point in his music career. "Unstoppable," his newest project, is a culmination of Jason's creativity, soulfulness and musical genius splashed with a little engineering flair that seems to come so naturally. "Island Girl", the first single off his project features O-Shen doing his thing the way only he can. It is a wonderful collaboration that will have you playing it over and over again. "Polynesian Pride", an other favoirte, has a great beat and tempo that is sure to keep you coming back to it for more. "Inner World" is another one worth taking a listen to. It has a raw Hip Hop/Reggae all in your face beat and will definitely get you moving. Jason also has a few more island reggae lovers rock tracks that really rounds out the scope of this project. "Unstoppable" the title song of this album is just that! It gets the blood pumping and you cannot help but feel his energy while you take in the entire song. As Jason pointed out, "we are all unstoppable, but if there is no focus and drive to gain what is desired it is a waste of your own energy and God given talents!" So he challenges everyone to discover how "unstoppable" you are because we all have it within us.
