Born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Fred Diezil can’t recall too many positive things about his childhood and experiences. Living in a household addicted to drugs and being exposed to bloody domestic violence within the home. He knew it was time to pack it up and head out by the age of 9. Diezil grew up in an area where your chances for failure is higher then it is to succeed. "Most people play the victim, I was born a victim, so I don’t have time to cry about it."
He has three personalities:
Erick, Fredrick and Fred Diezil. He was born Erick, after his father wanted a "Jr." he unwillingly changed his name to Fredrick. But Diezil claims it’s whatever now. "That’s my name so I rep it proud regardless of what it is." Fred Diezil was a name given to him based on his actions. "I smile when they say my name because that’s a compliment that I earned." When Fred Diezil was 9 years old, he and his mother fled to the state of Washington. Right away he was disappointed in the lack of "normal music" available in comparison to what he was used to in New Jersey. Although, he’d always loved rap, his musical exposure to other genres helped deepen his appreciation for music as a whole.
Upon graduation form high school Fred Diezil started to focus on writing music as a means to express what was happening at that time in his life. While putting himself through business school, he started focusing more seriously on teaching himself how to write and record music. After receiving enormous amounts of positive feedback from his shows and individuals who had heard him, he decided to build his own studio as he couldn’t afford to pay for studio time.
He taught himself the tricks of the trade in recording music. While putting himself through business school and running a business, Fred Diezil began recording himself and other local artists. He spent the beginning of his career focused on ther artist’s work, doing engineering work on the "Many Faces" Miztape and the complete engineering on Ang-P’s "The Focus." Since then himself as a rapper has flourished being on countless mixtapes and then being picked up by HiRollerz.com Records
