My passion for makeup has driven my life right from the start. It is my craft. I have developed my artistic skills so as to become a professional for the past 15 years. I am currently based in Paris for the last 2 years, after having lived in Zurich, London, Toronto and Miami.
I was born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland. I grew up in a family enamored with travel, instilling me with their attraction to fashion, art and banking. However constantly exposed to the world of fashion and art, to this day, my father's uncle remains the most influential in my appreciation. Much of my style today is still inspired by Alphonse Mucha's famous Art Nouveau paintings. Because of this, I aspire to achieve flawless, radiant looking skin, highlighting the complexion, for an end result that is natural, yet strong. A new direction in makeup.
My freelancing career has enabled me to develop great diversity from exposure to numerous fields. For example: national makeup artist for Lancôme Switzerland, L'Oréal Switzerland and Milano Cosmetics Italy. I also worked as a creator and teacher of makeup courses for Beauty Alliance Switzerland, touching everything from music and television, to fashion and advertising.
Since relocating to Paris, I've been especially interested in expanding my career in fashion. My most recent editorial apparitions include: Madame Figaro (FR), Galore (SE), Madame (D), Eva (SK), Tank (UK)...
The fact that I'm creative and committed makes me a useful addition to any team. I am multilingual - fluent in 5 languages - English, French, Italian, German and Czech. I enjoy the surge of energy working under pressure can provide.
Finally, my dog Merlin, a Bernese Mountain Dog is another of my passions. A most loyal companion, he is likely to be by my side during work, when possible and my spare time.
