We are a bunch of mates from coventry who all attended the same shitty school- Cardinal wiseman, where it was obvious that there was fuck all else to do but get a band together. We formed Autumn stone in late 1997, as i was a massive small faces fan, after been introduced to our drummer stuart who attended another school. we played in this band untill about 2000, where we formed Detour. The best gig we ever played was in a night club in coventry called scholars where the lovely Rowetta from happy mondays fame sang with us as we jammed some mondays tunes. we also played a gig with bez, who was a top laugh as he got the whole nightclub to participate in a drink and substance fulled conga
