10 Easy Ways to be A Conscious Consumer!!!- Help Spread The Word!!
1. Vote with your dollar!! – Always buy from companies who are environmentally conscious to make the biggest environmental impact possible.
2. Always buy the most local product possible. – Cut down on pollution caused by transporting goods!
3. Buy organic! – Organic products are made with OUT the use of chemicals that are extremely harmful to people and the environment.
4. Avoid excessive packaging. – Do you really need a bag for just those two things?…You got two hands.
5. Use environmental and animal friendly products. – If your cosmetics do not say: “Not tested on animals†–they probably are.
6. Recycle and dispose of your electronic waste properly!! –Make the effort to find a place that will recycle your computers, printers, scanners, batteries, etc. If you cannot find a good recycling facility –CONTACT US
7. Use recycled paper and always recycle your paper products
8. Speak out – Write a letter or drop a comment to companies/stores asking them to provide environmental products/services.
9. Eat a healthy diet. –Cut down on your meat eating or buy free range/organic meat. This is good for you, the animal and Earth. Buy locally grown produce!!
