Films (gee, who'da thunk it!) , Music, Literature and Science
I'd like to meet:
Directors (especially horror), Producers, other Composers, and anyone interested in the horror genre.
Music:
Lotsa score stuff... Young, Elfman, Williams, Goldsmith et al, Electronica (just about anything), Panic at the Disco, Fallout Boy
Movies:
The Haunting (1968 - The original, still the best), The Changeling, The Matrix Trilogy, Freddy, Jason, Pinhead and Micheal Myers (The Universal Monsters of the late 20th Century), Ringu, Ju-On, The Exorcisim of Emily Rose, Super Size Me and Bowling for Columbine
Television:
Why bother... :) Seriously I spend my entire day MAKING the crap - I don't really want to come home and watch it. Oh okay... Mythbusters (Yes I am a geek!), The Simpsons (they jumped the shark awhile ago, but they still make me laugh) and Dog the Bounty Hunter ("Everything good and weird about America")
Books:
1984, Anything else by Orwell, Anne Rice, Stephen King (good stories, even if his style sucks...), Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchet (alone or together), Douglas Adams, Conan-Doyle, Clive Barker and William Gibson
Heroes:
I have many I admire, but my real hero is my son Xander, who has taught me to look at the world as a child again (Yeah, it's sappy, but it's true...) and my daughter Ari, who keeps me from becoming an old guy!
