About Me

It all started when I was around 5 years old. Going to see my uncle play drums in an old time dance band. I always had a passion for singing but my parents didn't have the facilities to allow me to pursue this passion. So the way I got around the problem was to find an artist with the best voice that I could practice with.
This artist was to be "Elvis". Sorry, it sounds a little tragic to me also now I'm putting this down. But all the same, it worked for me until I could afford lessons myself.
The BANG BANG of the drums were around for awhile. Selling that off for the chance of buying my first guitar.
I opted for the Bass. It was about 12 months of lessons and a lot of walking with the old Fender over the shoulder and struggling with the amp and fleeing off, the massive black dog up the road which either wanted bite me or have a play. I don't know, {I never hung around long enough to find out!}.
The 6 string came next in the form of an old steel string acoustic, can’t remember the name right now. While all this was going on, girls were coming to my attention!! LOOK OUT!!
Then the dreaded Petrol head HIT. All of a sudden V8's and anything fast was IT! Had my go at doing up the fastest car on the block.
Music always stayed. Never got rid of any of these things, just reorganized.
It was apparent to me that the one thing I felt comfortable with was to be behind the scenes. On running into & reacquainting with Norm Parker from school, now a drummer he introduced me to a few original bands, names are many.
Just remember the 90’s in Melbourne .At this point I purchased a beautiful Ovation acoustic/electric guitar also an Ibanez electric & Marshall Combo. The Marshall's gone but the guitars are still sounding HOT!!
My first opportunity to work in the Original scene was to find a singer for a band with no name. It turned around on me. I ended up managing a Cover band instead.
The name was "RAUNCH" I managed this INDEPENDENT cover band with help from, Craig Symons from Uptempo Entertainment Services. It all worked well {about 4 yrs} until the wheels fell off. As they do from time to time. Now, I needed a rest!
A couple of years later, I was invited to see a band by the name of Invertigo. They had a support band which I recognized the drum kit. I was right, an old mate had seen the light and gone to ORIGINALS. Hooray!! The name of the band was “HEAVEN SCENT”
I was introduced to the Lead Singer/ Song Writer, Justin Murphy and a strong working relationship started soon after. HOW??? I offered to do a couple of light shows to help create an atmosphere and they sounded / looked great!
Justin then asked me to do lights on a more regular basis which transformed over time to title of "Road Manager". Which in recent time progressed further to P.A / Tour manager.
NEWS NEWS NEWS NEWS........
As of the 15th March 2008 I will become Justin Murphy's Manager.
I hope to do justice to this role and hope all of you reading this will get to see how AMAZING this guy and not forgetting the Fantastic sounds and harmonies from the guys and doll in the band that emulate through the unit as a whole

Sorry, it seems to be all about music. BUT.
Don't they say music makes the world go around??
