HB the DoeBoy, born John G. Arbo was raised in the south suburbs of Chicago during the "Golden Age of Hip-Hop". As a youth there were a lot of obstacles and pitfalls that could have sidetracked anyone. As a only child, he was able to understand the importance of his family and the value of friendship. This understanding allowed him to go out into the community focused on the his goals. As an honor roll student, accomplished athelete, and inspired artist DoeBoy left Chicago to turn his potential in to a reality. He attended Butler University for 2 years and then transferred to University of Louisiana @ Lafayette where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree. Unfortunatley his Football career had come to a hault. On the other hand this made time for him to give his music career the attention that it needed. DoeBoy returns home to breath life in to a dismal Chicago Hip-Hop Scene. He was included on an album by AWOL called, "A Way of Life" as a founding member even though half the album was finished before he laid his first verse on it. The single "Spend a Day" recieved a lot of support from Power 92, yet DoeBoy was more focused on putting out an album he could call his own. He becomes a frequent to Blue Heron and Room One Eleven Studios. Here he records his debut single "Me" which recieved a lot of spins on Power 92 in Bloomington, Ill. Now DoeBoy has a new inspiration with a new addition to his family. His music is revitalizing the City of Chicago and the music industry as well. As DoeBoy keeps it moving, you can expect to hear a lot from the PoLive Camp. DoeBoy appreciates all the support and blessings that came to him in his life and now he is in position to give the Home Team something to be proud....Stay Tuned
