Sounds Like: So much, that it's something you haven't heard before. The musicians surrounding this project are borrowed, some more permanent than others. As the year has gone on, each tune is unique to the musician asked to play. So he can bring his forte to bear. The songs are really the focus of this project, which as it picks up steam, seems to be taking on a life of it's own. I had originally anticipated being in the studio six months or so, but now, I'll be lucky to be out in a year from now. Why? You might ask. Well, I suppose the music has dictated that it requires more attention. The depth of what is at hand has become clearer, and the amount of material has grown significantly. You might say, I have become less of "in a hurry". I want the tunes to be something, something more than.. . . . ..you fill in the blank. I have dreams of being in the middle of a huge room, surrounded by reams of my writing. It's usually a crazy dream. My approach is organic. These songs come from some place. Some place human, rooted in emotion and feeling. I'm not sitting here, writing catchy shit to please and A n R department. So what's being worked on at present is so vastly different than what's posted. Not that I was trying to please an A n R dept. then either. In a way it all fits. So as things develop more I'll keep everyone abreast of the whole deal. Thanks for the support. It's been less than a year on MS. Cheers to the Tribe!!! Thank you to the friends and musicians that make this page possible.Wins
