About Me

I've always loved music from day one, but in the beginning when I was very young my best friend was taking drum in the marching band, and my parents wouldn't let me join because they didn't want to hear the noise. I finally talked them into getting me a guitar when I was 11 but they never got me any lessons, and all I had was an old 10 watt amp or something, and I didn't have a clue what to do, so I got discouraged and quit trying until I was 17 living in Willits CA and I was arguing with my girlfriend one night, dumped the clutch on my '67 GTO and blew the engine and rear end both at the same time. Temper temper! I would have fixed it but my parents wanted it out of the driveway, and I didn't have enough money at the time. So A guy I knew named Phil, came by and said: "Hey ya wanna sell me your Goat for part cash and part a drum set?" From that moment on, I was playing drums, and after a number of years of hearing guitar players argue, tune their guitars at full volume, and tell me to shut up while they were tuning, I finally said to myself: "Since I can't seem to find a professional band that appreciates my skill and committment, (and man did I search Sonoma and Marin Counties for years) I'll just start writing and recording myself." I learned from watching the guitar players in the bands I was with, plus going to shows and getting right up front so I could see what they were doing. I could never figure out why Eddie and the Tide never hit it real big, I thought they had a great live show, and really good songs and vocals. Anyway, Lotsa things happened along the way to distract me, (mainly the wrong women for me) and so I had numerous heartaches and setbacks (especially financial, can you relate?) but I have never given up on my dream to get my music heard, and buy my mom a house so she can finally retire. The woman is a Saint man! I would love to work with a bass player and a drummer who believe in the music and are real family oriented people. I come from a small town (sounds cliche' huh?) and I need to be around "Real" people with alot of heart & soul. Got Love? Cause that's what I'm all about! Jus Keepin' it Real. I write, record, and perform all my songs. I have new music for the site I will be adding soon, as most of the stuff on here now is from the late 80's. Myspace has been a real Godsend as a way to finally get the music to the world. So thanks for taking the time to read this if you've gotten this far.
