About Me

Some of you may know Melissa from the successful girl group Dream from Badboy Records and P Diddy. Melissa recorded, the double platinum album "It was All a Dream" with Ashley, Holly and Diana which instantly became a Billboard 100 album. During the preparation of their sophomore album - Melissa made the decision to resign from the group in the spring of 2002, to pursue her own dream to rediscover her passion for acting.
Melissa has filmed 5 movies within a year and a half of leaving the groun and in December 2003, Melissa was in the box office hit, "Love Don't Cost A Thing" . It was a re-make of the popular 80's film "Can't Buy Me Love" starring Patrick Dempsey. Melissa costars in this movie alongside Christina Milian, Nick Cannon (Drumline) and Steve Harvey (Kings Of Comedy). Recently, Melissa has finished filming two other movies. "The Hollow" which she costars with Nick Carter and Kaley Cuoco(8 Simple Rules) and the Vancouver, Canada produced "Window Theory".
Though she has focused primarily on her acting, Melissa has definitely not given up on her aspirations as a singer/songwriter. Melissa has the track "Always" which is featured on the "Love Dont Cost A Thing" soundtrack and is the musical focal piece for the pivotal moment in the film.
