California based CALi Fiend is hip-hop artist hailing from California by the way of Jersey. CALi Fiend combines the best of both worlds to make the well-rounded artist that he is today. At the age of 7, his passion for art was recognized. After winning many awards throughout his years in school and developing his talent as an artist, suddenly his love of music began to develop.As his heart pushed towards the world of music, he soon put his energy into media, promotion, and rapping. Though CALi Fiend has always had a keen sensibility for music, the growth of his talent had only just begun.Chiefly influenced by R&B artists like Whitney Houston, R. Kelly, TLC, & Brandy, hip-hop is never far away from his heart. His music comes from a diverse love of multiple genres like pop, rock, r&b and more.CALi Fiend has always believed in the sayings "hard work pays off" and "if it don't kill you, it only makes you stronger". From childhood, family members have always known he was going to be famous. Even though he participated heavily in sports, singing, dancing, songwriting, drawing, and other art forms, he would always come back to his first love of writing and rapping.At the tender age of 14, CALi Fiend penned his first songs entitled "Believe Me". The R&B-flavored joint was only the first in a long line of brilliant songs written. With each new song, he got quicker with the words and better with his skill.Later asking "Why be a singer when I have the ability to compete in the world of hip-hop?" CALi Fiend set out to make his mark on the game. Since he was a young child he mimicked his favorite artists until adulthood making his dreams come true."You have to have that drive for what you love to do, or you're going to fall off. Music has always been a positive influence on me & and a spiritual link to God," says Fiend.
