About Me

Welcome To My Page. My name is Yaahn Hunter Jr. I was born at Kaiser in Vallejo CA on January, 13, 1991. I fell in love with drums when I was three years old at my church New Faith Cathedral (now Rescue Mission C.O.G.I.C). I have been playing drums for 14 years and going. When I was 14, I began to fall in love with playing the piano. I used to always say I would never play keyboard because I loved drums so much. I am now the MD at my church playing Organ and Keys loving it, I continue my drum career in school, jazz bands, and drumline. I produce songs along with traks. I have written over 30 songs and tracks. I give God all the glory and recognition for the gift he has blessed me with. Yaahn Jizzle Freestyle

Influences: I have many influences starting with my lord and savior Jesus Christ. My brother is one of my biggest influences in my playing and personality. We've been playing with eachother for 7 years and going. It started out with him on organ and me on drums at my church. Now I'm the organist there and we both can't get enough of playing with eachother wether its me on on the organ, piano, or drums. I can say we've grown together in our playing and still going towards higher hights. My family is musically inclined, so it just flows through our blood. My Dad plays the keyboard and guitar. He has also written many songs that he arranged for my Mom and Sister to sing along to. My drumming comes from the inspiration of my peers who are out of this world: Carlin Muccular, Tawann Bradford, Thomas Pridgeon, Calvin Rodgers, Jeremy Haynes, Buddy Rich, Ronald Bruner Jr, David Jackson, Isaac Wynn, Tony Roster Jr, Eric Moore II and many others. For organ and piano: 1st my Brother Kellen Young, Micheal Bereal, Jason White, Kevin Bond, Eddie Brown, Devin Watkins, Bryan Dace, Asaph Ward, and the entire Powell family along with the Clarks and Sheards.
