Well it all started as Thirteenth Stone, then things just grew into a monster, escalated to a head with several band members and Jambo and Will decided to star all over, writing darker new material, retaining some of the more select originals from Thirteenth Stone and adding some very badass cover material, these guys have begun working with various new musicians. Why the change? Funny u should ask...here goes.
Upon realizing Thirteenth Stone was coming to an end Will went back to his roots, back to New Orleans for a brief sebatical. He found his old spiritual guru(if you will), an old moon-shine making, herb growing coon ass named Roscoe Cane.In a drunken stupor, the new vision came to light. The new name was found and the new band would shine. He decided to name the project after his mentor, with a variation on the spelling.Once the new course was charted, Jambo decided to step away and pursue his own ambitions with the blessings and well wishes he deserves. This change was followed by the addition of Terry Davis(a seasoned professional) on lead guitar and what was once important to the Thirteenth Stone would be important again. The stories that Will tells in his songs complimented by a swampy new sound on guitar, not to mention being fueled by the hard drinkin’ ways of old. The boys are back so keep an eye out , they will take you so far back into the swamp you might not ever make it out.
