DosTrece Radio

Started in May 2004 as a weekend broadcast out of the Dostrece Bar/Restaurant, Dostrece Radio began it’s seven day a week broadcast in August 2004, and in December, went 24hrs. Dostrece Radio began as a platform to showcase local talent, spinning a wide spectrum of music not accessible on local FM/AM stations.In addition to experimenting with new music technologies, the idea has been to provide a platform for DJ’s to perform while connecting to an international audience. A sort of ‘legit’ pirate radio station with no local boundaries. Today, with about 50% live DJ broadcasts, we include exclusive DJ mixes, club sessions, and new releases, remixes and playlists provided by independent record labels and record shops from all sides of the globe. Our goal is to use the station as a means of exposing listeners to music that is generally ignored by mainstream media outlets.Our new website, due to be up in August (fingers crossed), will also allow listeners to access archived shows, artist interviews and general music information. 2005 will also see Dostrece Radio nights in Barcelona as well as the introduction of our newly formed record label, 213 Underground. ---------------------------------------Dostrece Radio exists because of our amazing collaborators...musicians, DJ's, Producers, Promoters, Sponsors, office slaves, etc. We're always on the look out for new talent, tracks and ideas...even big ups or criticisms.
