My Family & all the People of New Orleans for being strong & couragous during these hard times and Making it through Katrina.I wish I could be as strong and positive as them. They are my Heros. When I think I have things bad. I remember what I saw when I went home and how they had these attitudes as though. "We'll make it So what if our homes are gone, we have each other and we have our community,that is what our homes are really, we can rebuild a house, we can not rebuild our loved ones and we our thankful for that."
I cried everytime I went home and saw how my child hood places where washed away into the river.I curse & morned the loss . I felt as though I could not give enough back to my community and my family and I felt ashamed when I would get upset over little things. They are my Heros and I will never Forget August 2006. The Day Katrina Changed New Orleans History forever Not the spirit.
