K-Y.....This profile was edited with my fingers MySpace Profile EditorI was born and raised in Baltimore, but after watching a few handfuls of friends and acquaintances go down the drain, I felt it was time to pack my bags, move on and explore. My destination of choice was Florida. I do believe I was led there for a reason besides the beautiful weather, to meet a few lifetime friends. Like my Linda Sue, AKA Syllie:) There are SO many beautiful places to see, why not try someplace new?! I'd like to have some good people to surround myself with that I know will be around for another 20+ years. Those with well-balanced lives.
I work on mobile marketing tours and various promotional events. Bike Week, Nascar, Car Shows, Medical Trade Shows, Consumer Products/Surf Expos, etc. The list of companies I have represented is pretty diverse. I like variety in all areas of life to keep things spiced up and this line of work provides that.I'm all about taking opportunities as they present themselves and creating my own in the meantime. I'm really into Alternative Health/Organic Living and study it in my spare time. Spent two years in college studying Surgical Technology and really loved assisting in the OR. Guess I was born with a VERY strong stomach!
Things I can't live without are family, my true friends, sunshine and hot weather, the beach, seafood, pictures, music, all things vanilla, hot tea, cold beer, wifebeaters, unconditional love and laughter. Words often used to describe me include witty, goofy, a dreamer and a doer, loyal, intelligent, compassionate, opinionated, open-minded, down-to-earth, straight-forward, hard-working, optimistic, a great listener and shy.Too many interests to name them all...I am a kid at heart that still loves the zoo, aquarium, circus, carnivals and parades, along with theater, museums, amusement parks, snorkeling, camping, baseball games, walks at Cranes Roost Park and most of all I love traveling. Long trips, weekend trips, day trips...whatever! I love red swedish fish and red sour patch kids! I also enjoy a good drink while listening to live music but I'm not a club girl. I'd much rather relax over drinks, music and conversation in a local dive or dock bar. If you put on an act when you are around certain people and don't let the real you shine through, then I don't have time for you. Life is too short to hang around with fake people. Been there - done with that. I can be just as entertained with an evening at home on my couch. My main goal in life is to help others. I'm not sure in what capacity, as long as my contribution makes a difference. That is my passion. I would love to go overseas someday to help those less fortunate. Aside from that, I wish to travel the world and see different cultures. Ireland would be a nice place to start. My extended family lives in the Donegal area and I plan to visit one day. What better place to drink beer, hear bagpipes and see the St. Patty's Day parade! After that trip, I'll be heading to Tahiti.
