ANIME SERIES REVIEW: GUN GRAVE-This action anime series is based off the video game, but adds its own unique touch to the story. At first it’s simple; Brandon Heat, Brandon has best friends, Brandon has a girl interest, Brandon gets into life altering trouble with friends. Soon Brandon finds himself involved in the city’s top mafia. At the end of the first thirteen episodes, the plot peaks then settles to get you geared up for the rest. The journey spans over about 28 years and is not only good in action, but in story. The characters paths twist and turn with each year that goes by. There are definitely differences between the game and the series so it should be seen as a separate take on the tale, but for fans of the game, their favorite characters are all there. Although the change from the ordinary first half to cult science second half is somewhat unexpected, it is tied in well and takes the series in a new and exciting direction. The only thing to watch out for is how many times they say “Brandon Heatâ€. I give Gun Grave 9/10.WARNING: Those who wish not to see any spoilers should NOT watch this...
