Happily Married Woman

About Me

I am 48 years old and have about 48 different personalities. I have been married to my best friend (Indie Pendant -- see below) for almost 18 years, and have two teenage children. I live for my family and thank God every day for them.I joined MySpace to make some new friends with whom to share stories and philosophies. We can all learn from each other. However, I must give you fair warning...I am not interested in seeing naked pictures or talking dirty. I am also not interested in anything pertaining to internet marketing. Don't get me started talking about how much I abhor internet marketing. In summary, I am here to make acquaintances and maybe share some funny stories or talk about the meaning of life. That's it.

My Interests

Laughing, relationships, health, nonfiction, meeting new people, discovering the meaning of life.

I'd like to meet:

People who make me laugh, deep thinkerss, people who are not "by the book," not afraid to speak their mind, honest, and with whom I "click." I am not interested in helping anyone get their rocks off by talking dirty. To me, that is boring; been there, done that. Besides nothing turns me on more than hearing from a man who has good grammar. Call me crazy, but I have a fetish for good grammar.

Music:

Classic rock, punk, Indie music. Sorry to those of you who love it, but I do not like country music and opera. Chan Marshall alias Cat Power. Anything my 17-year-old son plays (bass player). Too many to name here.

Movies:

Revenge, suspense, scary movies, comedies, love stories, and true stories.

Television:

Scrubs, Extras, Entourage, Court TV, Medium, Lifetime MoviesFor anyone who thinks TV is useless, my children are prime examples of how TV is useful. My daughter has learned so much about how to deal with people and the types of people to avoid from watching Lifetime TV. I believe people who hate TV are too uptight and need to chill out more.

Books:

I hate to read books (short attention span), prefer magazines or newspapers.

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, Mother Theresa, Honest Policemen, Firemen, Armed Forces, my husband, my mother-in-law; those who cares more about others than themselves.

My Blog

Unworthy

For those of you who have never heard the song by Cheryl Wheeler, here are the words.   I am posting this to all my fellow women.  I don't know about you but I really identify with...
