I just created this myspace to let people hear my own music and maybe even to communicate with my friends. I will post mp3s later, ideally soon. Its not just metal, I also compose jazz-ethnic-ambient-blues-classical-etc-whatever-influenced stuff. Whatever happens to come out naturally at the time. In public I only play metal and I wear only black, because I have no incentive whatsoever to make people think I was gay.
Music Info:
As number one, I am a guitar geek, but also I am an open minded musician. I got my first guitar when I was 3 but I seriously begun playing music around 8 years old or something, on both keyboard and guitar. I got lessons from the leading jazz players in Finland, too many of them to start listing here, and also studied in a music high school. I mostly practiced jazz theory and technique, although I always was a big fan metal. I started giving guitar lessons 12 years ago and might still be up for some extra money. Hell, I will go all they way for just a cheeseburger, any given day. I played in a number of jazz/prog projects and when I moved to London I joined Brazilian band Downcast, which broke up when most of the dudes moved back to Sao Paolo. I really don't care about what I been doing, more about what I AM doing.
Gear stuff:
At the moment I have Kramer, Charvel, PRS and Brian Moore guitars. Brian Moore is a 7 string. I like neck through body and PRS guitars. Basically, anything neckthru and with 2 humbuckers, I will like it. Otherwise, RAUS! I use Line 6 amps and TonePort for recording. I also play keyboards, and actually, if anyone has a spare +5 octave keyboard let me know. (I never brought my keyboard gear to London)
VX WARHEAD
Now it is official!!! It is called VX WARHEAD. We are forming a metal band with my dear friend Arno, and we are looking for a bass and drum players. Drummer has to be really awesome but I am not naive enough to pretend bass is a real instrument, so just some dude with a bass would be good enough. Being black is a bonus! At the moment we agreed this band will be twin guitar-riffing "metal", something in the style of Megadeth. Why not? Mustaine is great and there are no that many proper guitar bands anymore.
