About Me

I was born in Hollywood in the summer of love to a hippie/teen mom & a Nam vet. I went thru what I now know is a fairly typical calif unstructured childhood involving many step-parents, too much new age crap, & more. LUCKILY my friends and I were EXCELLENT self/peer parents (besides my MOMMA, thanx Mica, Joey, Sheri, Kentia Krew/Bones Brigade, 69 road crew, Carpas kids for my survival....)!!! After moving around for years I was finally settled in the Sb/Carp area at about age 10-- AQUACAMP RULED!!!I left Cali in 91-- I left SB to get away from the expensive housing, the partying, and the lifestyle I shared w/many.. OK, let's face it, I knew a few too many guys like Spiccoli!!I then went to Colo & finished college, went to NC and taught 5th grade, got married and worked a corporate job in Rochester, NY for almost a decade. THE HIGHEST MURDER RATE IN NY IS IN ROCHESTER & NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE!!!My husband & I made the decision to come back to the west coast, the left coast, my fun coast, and we're in Oregon where my bio-parents are. we'll see what happens from here.SEE IF YOU KNOW ME!

My Interests

Music, being outdoors in general, hanging out w/friends, roadtrips. The Ocean-- fog horns, tidepools, sailing, boogie boarding (yikes!), harbor smells, snorkeling (scuba diving when I was 7 yeehaw!). Looking at the stars at nite. Gardening. Dogs, kitties, kids, family, exploring. Helping to educate our future generation. Vegging on rainy days.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to reconnect w/old friends & make new friends from around the country and around the world. We are all ONE TRIBE after all.

Red Hot Chili Peppers still get my groove on, but almost everything I hear I like- I haven't quite been able to stomach any country yet.... *Local 805 Boyz OF COURSE-- Bad Astronaut, Lagwagon, RKL, Snot, Foo Fighters, Rat Pack, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Dishwalla (hmm, the last I just feel like I have some weird obligation to support) etc. *Old 80s metal-- 69--HAHA- there's an SB trivia ?? for u!, Iron Maiden, The Crue, Judas Priest, Steeler, etc (Randy Rhodes-- RIP-U STILL ROCK), Metallica, Ozzy, AC/DC *Old classic rock-- it's just in my blood I guess! *Folk music/almost any music from around the world-- The Weavers are classic, if you've never heard 'em look 'em up. *"Old School" Reggae- Bob of course, but Dennis Brown, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff, Mighty Diamonds, Judy Mowatt, etc *Lotsa Club music *Hip Hop/Rap-- De La Soul, Tribe called Quest, Black Eyed Peas, NWA, Black Diemonds, Missy Elliot, TLC, Salt & Peppa * What category did I forget?Music Music Music!I LOVE IT!
