About Me
------------------Hey, what’s up? If you wanna know about me, maybe you’re gonna waste your time, there’s nothing left to know about me more tan what I’m gonna write down here! My real name is not Pepe, but I love to be called that way, it’s because most of the people knew me under that nickname, and since I was five, everybody calls me that way, so, I like it!!! I’m married, I married the most wonderful woman a guy could have her name is Carolina González, I have my family, thing that I feel proud of, love my children, love my parents and friends, sometimes is hard to keep a relationship with friends, but love always kicks asses, and I fight harder everyday to keep my friends by my side! Since I was twelve I felt in love with something called music, and, even though I started playing bass guitar with a hard rock band, and I also played Rock in Spanish and stuff like that –even neo-punk, and I don’t have a specific reason why did I do that!!- but lately, I got surrounded by something called metal, and I started playing drums, something that I still love, and I started since I was sixteen. Since then, I shared a lot of time with many people, involved into this metal scene, and I played with bands like: Ubergehen, Abrakadabra, Nimloth, obviously as a session drummer, but I learnt a lot from this rocking bands, different styles, but the same feeling, to give a hard fight for rock. I started my own band, that’s still playing, and I hope it would be that way, just to keep myself feeling alive, that’s the reason why I play drums, my band is called Regnvm, we play a mixture between heavy, power and thrash metal, and with my band I met most of my closer friends, a lot of cool bands from Bogotá, and even further! Nowadays, I also play drums with a band called Sledgehammer, a thrash speed metal band, that fills me with those fast riffs, and insane tunes, and both of my bands are recording their stuff, I hope everything would be okay for those projects. I also want to study English so I could be one day (hopefully) a very good English teacher, and there is something that I always wanted to be: A graphic designer (drawings and stuff), and a metal singer, just like most of my heroes do it: Blaze Bayley, Rob Halford, Matthew Barlow, Piet Silck, Dave Mustaine, Hansi Kursch, and those freaks who really kick asses, but, it requires a lot of training and discipline! A big “hola†to my friends, my bands, my family and last but not least my God!!!
