A Taste Of Broken Glass is a young experimental melodic metal band, with influences of Core, Emo and everything else ;) ATOBG was founded in 2004. Where did we grow up? In the wonderful Sauerland in NRW. We are 4 guys at the age of 18 up to 24, with the creative will to make metal more interesting and try to bring some new sounds in! In 2004 our Lead-Singer Lucas and our Guitar-Player Robert decided to make some music, the first step for A Taste Of Broken Glass was made. After a short period of time it was clear who should bring his influences on the drums, so David started playing with them to one day fuck up the stages. Almost one year we tried to find our style and built up a wonderful relationship inside the band. Then, after 2 years of searching, in 2006 the right Bass-Player Marc joint and we started to focus on practicing and writing songs with him over 1 year and a half. Then in summer 2007 we played our first show and from then on, our skills and hunger for the stage improved as much as we can make it possible. At least we’re all thankful to have the chance to show our inner feelings and whats on our mind. And the best is, that we can be on stage, doing our thing and don’t give a fuck about what others may think. Right now we are producing our first EP which will come out this year, like in summer 2008!
