About Me

My name is Kathlene Queen. I am a junior at Robert Morris University. I am a nursing student, but it took me two years to realize that's what I want to do. I started college at New York University as a Musical Theatre major. I love the city. I would go back there anyday. I miss it so much. So I lived in the city for a year and half before deciding to transfer to Ohio State University to begin studying nursing. I love the Buckeyes, and the Browns...so it's going to be a little rough living right outside of Pittsburgh. blah :oP Anyhoo, I was born in Tampa Florida, moved to Ohio when I was 11 or so. I have an enormous family, and I love science and music!

My Interests

I love nature, and any attempt to recreate it's beauty in different forms. In other words, I love art, literature, and music. I love being outdoors whether it be rock climbing, hiking, driving, white water rafting, canoeing or just laying in the grass.

I'd like to meet:

I would love to meet everyone and anyone because I find people so interesting...BUT, some of the people I would love to meet because of my adoration for their lifes work are John Lennon, Jesus, Nietzsche, Andy Warhol, Ani Diranco and Jonathan Larson.

Music:

I mostly listen to the jamband genre, but I will listen to anything if it's got a nice beat. I'm a huge fan of the Greatful Dead, Phish, Ani DiFranco, The Beatles, Neil Young, Ben Kweller, Wilco, the Benevento Russo duo, and the list could go on for hours and hours.

Movies:

I love watching movies. It's always a good time...well almost always anyway! Some of my favorites are The Life Aquatic, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Office Space, Big Fish, anything with Vince Vaughn (he's beautiful), etc.

Television:

T.V. is so damn addicting! I love the Gilmore Girls, House, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, America's Next Top Model, the Price is Right, etc.

Books:

my favorite book ever is Seaward, I also like The Catcher in the Rye, anything by Nietzsche, the DaVinci Code was great. Eh, I'll read anything.
