About Me

Peter Kipling has been involved in the dance music industry for 9 years. Starting out playing in 1998 his sound has progressed from Trance to House to Progressive to Breaks to Techno.
Peter is also one half of the excellent production duo that is Autophase.
In 2004 Peter began to find a footing in the industry. Peter featured in IDJ Magazine and played at various venues around the North for example Mook and Oslo in Leeds. After scooping second prize at the second prize in the North Yorkshire DJ competition, Peter was snapped up and started a residency at bar Enigma in Newcastle. Peter also hosted his own arena for two years running at the Richmond Live Festival in North Yorkshire with brothers James and Tom Collingburn.
In 2006 Tom Collingburn & Peter Kipling formed the production duo Autophase. In January 2007 as a result of their music production the pair featured in DJ Magazine as ‘Top Pick’ in the ‘Pick n Mix’ section. (Their own tunes) are all excellent glitchy house music. Dirty, funky, deep, this duo will surely go far. “Terry Church, DJ Magazine”
With their tracks now being signed to major dance labels like Global Underground, DigiPrana Records, Gravitation Records and being supported by DJs like Mason, Jim Rivers and Audiojack, the launch of their very own club night that is ‘Polystyrene’ and lots of high profile gigs planned, 2007 looks to be a big year for Autophase.
