After the GB show here in Philly, Bill and I were talking and I mentioned that I've been SXE for 15 years (since Easter Monday 1991). He said 2006 makes 15 years for him too (September 1991, on his first day of college). Always looking for an excuse to have a party, I decided we should celebrate. On September 10, that is exactly what we did and what a party it was!Other things that are also being celebrated that day:
-My 15 year anniversary of being a vegetarian.
- VSD's 32nd birthday (Sept. 5).
-Chris W's 18th sxe anniversary (an official announcement wasn't made, but I know he was celebrating it in his mind).
We met up at Star Garden Park at 7th and Lombard for kickball, then went to Kingdom of Vegetarians for dinner. There were 20 of us total and it was awesome! Requested attire was a favorite sxe shirt and to come X'ed up. I saw some pretty awesome shirts, but boo on those who didn't bother to X up! Pics will follow as soon as Bill emails me the pics! I've decided to keep this profile to announce upcoming smoke-free/booze-free/drug-free/veg-[etari]an parties. And it's a good thing I named it "sxe_anniversary" instead of "sxe_party", even though the latter would more more fitting... but you can imagine all the weirdos who would think it's a typo and want to add me to their friends lists!
