In ancient Alexandria, four Tritons, mythical creatures half fish- half man, at each corner of the lighthouse blew into their giant shells whenever a ship was entering the great harbour. It is assumed, that these shells were constructed as big so-called aeolian harps, letting the wind generate the tone. This acoustic signal, which must have been very harmonic and loud at the same time, was hearable for many people in Alexandria expecting merchant, food and people from all over the known world. It is also assumed, that certain kind of ships had its individual enter-the-harbour-sound. Cleopatras huge royal galley must have been introduced different than a cargo ship containing olive oil from greece. Anyways, we like olive oil and we like good sound. So we founded our company in this spirit. The Tritons and their shells are buried underwater for over 1700 years now, but their sound still remains. Every day.
