About Me

Okay, just to make a quick clarification: My name is Dr. Frosbite.
Mecha_B.E.A.R. is the name of this project.
I am heavily influenced by Master System and Genesis/Megadrive games. I also like to make music/beats that people can listen to and help them remember the good old days of opening that large box on christmas day and seeing their first Genesis-- with a SONIC the hedgehog game, and playing that game all day, feeling like the luckiest kid in the world. I want people to remember what it was like spending all your quarters on Strider or Street Fighter II, and not having a care in the world. Yeah, that's the shit right there.

About Dr. Frostbite
Raised in the Bronx the majority of my life, I lived in the Bronx for a good 20 years before moving to Los Angeles. No matter where I roam, I'll always be representing 177th-Parkchester, on the 6 train line. I pretty much aspire to be that guy who can collaborate with just about anyone and develop a portfolio more diverse than the city of new york itself.
I'm not the greatest thing to ever happen. i never will be. I just want to do shit that I love because I love it. Period. This isn't a matter of having a million people buy my album, or have the most page views/listens on myspace. I just want to show people my love for music, video games and its culture.
