I spend my days playing the piano, making cabaret shows with friends at the Maj, conducting Music Theatre shows, teaching Music Theatre at WAAPA, accompanying and coaching singers and instrumentalists, and general music type stuff. I have never had a real job, have no chance whatsoever of ever getting a real job, and I wouldn't want a real job. My first paid gig was playing jazz piano in a restaurant when I was 15, I left home to go study classical music, and I am still learning! The best things about being a muso are meeting new people all the time, working crazy hours, never doing the same job twice, and entertaining people that you have never met. That all sounds way too serious! It makes me sound like a music geek, which I kind of am, but in a buffed way! If you believe that, we will get on just fine.
