About Me

I'm a fifth generation Colorado native that grew up in Vegas. Reno is the smallest city I have ever lived in. I'm a writting student at the university with a minor in gender studies.(I know, I know it's about time). I'm a complete romantic, what can I say I'm still a naive mountain girl at heart. I have a dog named Gypsi Rose Lee; she got her name from a brothel dancer in the musical Gypsy. She's my pride and joy!I love to read and write. I want to be the next Judy Blume, Meg Cabot, or Theresa Medeiros. I love to travel unfortunately I dream of farther and more exotic places then San Francisco, not saying San Francisco isn't a blast, because it's one of my favorite cities.Well that's me kind of, if you want a real report ask one of my accomplices. No, not friends, accomplices - partners in crime - no not really. Well, maybe Tasheena. But they all have different reasons why they are accomplices and not friends. That's a lie my accomplices are my friends.

My Interests

I like snowboarding, I'm not good at it, but I really like it. I love to write and read. I enjoy hanging out with friends (of course). I love to travel. I like camping, going to the dog park, and being lazy. I like being spontaneous. Last but not least I'm going to sky dive one day.My future baby! trust me I'm saving, it's beautiful I have tears in my eyes

I'd like to meet:

I like to meet people who can make me laugh. I also love people who will argue with me (in an intelectual way). I think my demands are fairly simple.

Music:

Our sweetest songs are those that tell of saddest thought. (Percy Bysshe Shelley)I'm an eclectic, I'll give anything a chance. My favorites are Matchbox 20, Three Doors Down, The Calling, and My Chemical Romance. They keep me happy and make me feel better when I'm down. It's like Therapy for the poor college student.I listen to music for the lyrics. I like a varity and I'm an eclectic. My all time favorites at the moment include Matchbox Twenty and My Chemical Romance.

Movies:

I love movies I'm pretty much willing to see anything, but I avoid full blown action films that are filmed for the pure sake of seeing things blow up.All time favorite: Only You and Cry Baby

Television:

Heros, Entorage, Phsyc, My Boys, Greek, Gossip Girl, Dirt, The Riches, The Tudors, Grey's Anatomy, Reaper, and whatever else recordes on my DVR.

Books:

I average about 75 books a year. Current projects: A Certain Slant of Light, Les Miserables, and Heart of Darkness (for the second time)Most recently: George Elliot's Middlemarch, The Gossip Girl Series, Stevenson's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Wuthering Heights, The Handmaid's Tale, Animal Farm, a dozen or so memoirs, a few romance novels, some Evanovich, Cabot, Austen, and some others.My Favorite: Meg Cabot and Tereasa Medeiros. They are my idols!If you want to know more ask I've probably read it.Oh and everyone should read Nabokov's Lolita. It is one of the most refrenced book I know of, well that and Dante's Inferno.

Edgar Allen Poe! he married his cousin and died drunk in a gutter! oh and he was a great writer
