DISCLAIMER- Fluwid is a band all of us take seriously and wish that all of these rules are taken the same way. We believe that metal is awesome and want you to have fun with this, but remember this IS a job.
THE MISSION OF THE FLUWID STREET TEAM: We are here to try our best to get the word out about Fluwid. We do not discriminate against anyone who wants to be part of the fluwid experience.
Rules:
1. You do not promote the Street Team, you promote the band.
2. YOU DO NOT PROMOTE THE STREET TEAM, YOU PROMOTE THE BAND!
3. The Street Teams may have no less than Four but no more than Ten team members.
4. Creativity is not only accepted, it is expected, but we do want it to be something you enjoy.
5. Everything that the teams come up with must be approved (i.e. Sticker Slapping) by the Official Team and The Band. This is mainly to avoid doing something that might bring grief to the band, such as law suites.
6. One of the more important things is the daily responsibilities that you have as a Street Team member, such as talking to people about the band, and messaging people on Myspace.com. It may not seem like that is very important, but it is because it is the little things in life that make the difference.
7. Another thing that is very important is making sure that you don’t just stick to your area.
To all of us, a fan is a fan no matter who you are.
8. The Street Teams work on a points system by how well you are doing. You will be rewarded with fluwid merchandise, and other perks. Point system will be given to you.
10. This is a JOB, not a club, not a party, WE PROMOTE THE BAND NOT THE STREET TEAM.
11. Do not put down any other band, and do not make this a campaign. We enjoy ALL types of rock, but Fluwid is one of OURS.
12. HAVE FUN! Make sure that you get the awesome underground metal out there. Let’s get the mainstream more bearable.
13. Finally, we want you to do some insane things such as plastering a sticker on anything pertaining to but not limited to, fast food restaurant billboards, toilet stalls, hallways, lockers, or your mom, take a picture and we will make an attempt to post the best ones on the Street Team website.
