About Me

In a state known as a Mecca for growing corn and home of the “Big Red,” Elliott Thomas with his steadfast drive to excel, leads a life built on honesty, integrity and a tradition for excellence.Born and raised in rural Nebraska, many of Elliott’s positive attributes stem from music. At a young age, Elliott developed a wide range of talents from playing rag time piano to percussion instruments, having lead roles in musicals, singing and dancing in show choir, and performing solos while developing a strong work ethic and compassion to maintain an optimistic attitude.Collegiate experiences in music led him to singing Tenor in the Varsity Men’s Chorus and a role in an all male a cappella group, “The Bathtub Dogs,” where he wrote the proposal and bylaws to initiate the new University Club. Production of fall and spring shows complete with videos and choreographed skits challenged his creative talents and culminated with the inception of an elite vocal group whose legacy still functions at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Each step steers him one step closer to fulfilling his dream: pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.Proudly wearing “red” as one of only four males on campus to be appointed as a Student Recruiter with the University of Nebraska Football team, Elliott worked alongside the coaching staff for two years. Experience as an ambassador in the athletic department built confidence in his marketing skills by informing potential recruits about the integrity of the university as an athletic and educational opportunity.Setting a high standard for excellence, Elliott values the meaning of hard work and dedication. Each summer, Elliott worked construction and roofed houses to pay for his education. Additional income was earned running a marketing campaign for Cingular at the College World Series prior to leaving for studies in International Economics and British History at Mansfield College; an institution part of the United Kingdom’s highly regarded Oxford University system. The final semester of his senior year included difficult course work, an internship with US Senator Chuck Hagel, being a runner for the Law Firm of Woods & Aitken, and developing marketing strategies for Eclectic Marketing & Entertainment. His ability to multi-task, maintain a team mentality, utilize time management skills, and work flawlessly under pressure were revealed and proved to be vital to his success.Elliott’s exposure to the entertainment industry began his senior year of college when approached by the president of a local marketing firm, Eclectic Marketing & Entertainment, to assist in the establishment and growth of the newly formed company. By analyzing the needs of various downtown venues in Lincoln, Nebraska, Elliott was successful in restructuring the clientele through event promotions and the hiring and training of DJ’s. Lincoln's nigtlife will never be the same...It was in March of 2006 that he discovered the world of sports agents when he went to meet with a San Diego-based agent to discuss internship opportunities. Upon receiving his bachelors degree from the University of Nebraska in May, Elliott ventured out to San Diego, California to continue his sports marketing efforts; learning and growing professionally in the sports representation realm until his return to the Midwest.During the summer of 2006, E. Thomas Management, LLC was founded in Lincoln, Nebraska to provide a legal avenue to counsel and direct talented individuals exploring career goals in the areas of music and athletics. E. Thomas Management linked with a group from Nebraska known as “Escro” and worked with an area producer with ties to American music composer and record producer, Timbaland and The Mosley Music Group. The group landed the official remix to Nelly Furtado’s hit single “Promiscuous Girl” alongside Rick Ross, DOE, and Stack$. An extensive fan base was developed while creating the groups unique image and style. In May of 2006, prior to the establishment of E. Thomas Management, he was approached to help launch an original company. BLURI.com is the host to one of the most dynamic entertainment websites in the world. BLURI has devised a plan to take over the world in entertainment one media outlet at a time. Acquiring over 35 million hits since the company’s inception, BLURI plans to take entertainment branding to a whole new level.Elliott’s skills reach beyond music to sports marketing. Through the development, production, and execution of radio ads featuring NFL free-agent quarterback, Zac Taylor, he was able to successfully endorse Gary Michael’s Clothiers, one of the Midwest’s finest men’s wardrobe providers. Elliott also contributed to the endorsement of Gary Michael’s Clothiers by Kansas City’s Third Baseman, Alex Gordon who is featured on a billboard near the University of Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium stating, “They treat you like royalty...” Elliott strives to uphold that slogan with everyone he meets.A former marketing professor describes Elliott Thomas in reference as: “…an ambitious, optimistic, and seemingly volcanic individual who views life without boundaries. Creativity and passion bubble from Elliott’s extremely sociable, entertaining, cheerful, genial and outgoing personality. Elliott is a hard working individual motivated both by a genuine concern for the well being of others and achieving a standard of excellence."Currently Elliott is working diligently to develop the music and entertainment career of a unique and talented individual from Kansas City, Missouri, Jaqwan Sirls, known as the “Wonkachild.” His many talents include music composition and production, acting, dance choreography, writing fiction, and illustrating. Also a playwright and vocalist, he co-owns a clothing line (Happy Rhino) which he designs. Together, their vision and mission involves bringing back self expression and imagination through a newly developed sound Jaqwan refers to as, “Chocolate.”Based on the evaluation of Elliott’s skills, he is an individual encompassing the intellectual capacity, real world experience, and the courage to excel. By using his powerful mind and viewing the world without limits, he has the mindset to create a master piece. Striving to be the best in the area of sports and entertainment management is only the beginning of Elliott’s dream.
