About Me
If you live in Milwaukee and are a fan of the Milwaukee Bucks this is an important topic that needs action. The Bradley Center was built in 1988 with donations by the Pettit family and was primarily built to secure Milwaukee an NHL franchise. After that no longer became a feasible option the Milwaukee Bucks became the main attraction to the Bradley Center. It is now 2006 and as hard as some may find it to believe the Bradley Center is far outdated. It is still a useful venue for concerts and minor league teams such as the Admirals, but to keep the Milwaukee Bucks here it is just not going to cut it. The Bradley Center just does not generate enough revenue to keep the Bucks above water, it's as simple as that. The Milwaukee Bucks have recently signed a new 2 Year lease with the Bradley Center, with an option for the third year. This leaves the city of Milwaukee approximately 3 years to begin the discussion of a new arena. If we don't initiate some sort of movement we will lose the Bucks to the likes of Oklahoma City, or Las Vegas and I for one don't want to see that happen.By becoming friends with this myspace you are supporting ideas and efforts to build Milwaukee a new arena to hold the Milwaukee Bucks, and generate entertainment for the city of Milwaukee. Please feel free to post your ideas and comments and together we can make something happen.
