Well, I don't really like talking about myself due to my narcissistic tendencies. Oh yeah... & I don't like sarcasm either...(wink-wink)... But since I must... I'm basically a "what you see is what you get" individual... Which kinda makes me quite bull s*it intolerant. To me, staying true & being real is non-negotiable... However, I'm a lot less serious than this turns out to sound, you just have to get to know me before that side of me shows. They say God works in mysterious ways, & for a long time I pondered why He was so mysterious on my @ssets. I used to believe that "destiny was a matter of choice, not chance" until I discovered that fulfilment in life cannot be attained by forcing one's own destiny; instead, one must be receptive to the path laid for them by nature and circumstance, which will provide what is necessary to get you to the place you are meant to be. Of all the changes, ups & downs last year put me though I can honestly say that things DO ALWAYS work out for the best (God only has three answers for us, Yes, Not yet, and I've got something better in mind). And it all comes down to this, after being accepted in to Rice University in Houston TX, my roads have taken 6 strange, unexpected, facinating detours. Long story short, that somehow brought me full circle to the Beautiful, Weird City of Austin, TX. I will be working with all my heart & strength in obtaining my Masters Degree in Industrial Psychology. I do not regret moving, however it's difficult not to become homesick when you've left so much behind (I miss my family & friends terribly, not to mention good Mexican Food). Hopefully, I'll be blessed to find quality friends here as well.
