I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

*~* I don't know what my friends (or anyone else) would say, but I like to think that I am a funny and nice person, easy to talk to. I would give you the last dollar in my wallet if you really needed it and not think twice. When people make mistakes, I try to give them the benefit of the doubt if I can. And believe me, I've forgiven for ALOT in my life so far! It's nice when things don't have to be complicated. Just live, love, and have a good time while you're here.I love the beach; the ocean in particular. Watching the waves crash can be quite enchanting, and what a way to clear your mind. Ever gone to the beach at night during a lightning storm? What an awesome sight.I love to laugh and talk to friends. The Boston Red Sox are my life. Seriously. They WILL win it all this year! I'm not kidding!***I want all of you people to know that I wrote this quote *BEFORE* the 2004 season started! Dreams really do come true, huh? Update 9/21/06: Ok, my team is right back down in the gutter. But I still love them!I'm always down for meeting new people...but please, be a little logical here. I have a boyfriend, so don't send me a message asking if I'd be interested in receiving some "discreet oral fun". Even if I didn't have a boyfriend, I would most definitely NOT respond to you.

My Interests

Many things. Watching funny movies, accomplishing the impossible, photography, shaking my ass to spanish music (I can't dance to anything else, I'm serious) going to metal shows..m/ ..m/, Wayne's World!, music in general, BASEBALL BASEBALL BASEBALL RED SOX BASEBALL, don't forget the Celts too, Victoria's Secret, homestarrunner.com (Strongbad is the man), volunteer work, talking to you, organizing parties just for the hell of it, reading, cracking jokes...you know...stuff.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone that is just chill, NOT complicated, and doesn't think their sh*t smells like roses. I don't care if you're a rock star or a homeless guy that sleeps under the highway, I'll treat you the same - respectfully. Unless you give me a reason not to ;)But if you want specific peeps, I'd have to say Mo Vaughn (former Boston Red Sox/Anaheim Angels/NY Mets), Adam D/Howard Jones of Killswitch Engage, Scott Weiland of STP/Velvet Revolver, and...your mom. Just kidding. I'm sure your mom is a very nice lady. RIP Red Auerbach.P.S. Vote for Christy Mihos!

Music:

Alice in Chains, Notorious BIG, Faith No More, Portishead, PANTERA, Poe, Tori Amos, Mad Season, Ennio Morricone, Slayer, Black Label Society, Tchaikovsky, Stone Temple Pilots, Napalm Death, Patsy Cline, Killswitch Engage, Jodeci, Diecast, GWAR, Louis Armstrong, Megadeth, Eazy-E, Soundgarden, Luther Vandross, Nirvana, Ice T, Guns N Roses, Ray Charles, Beck, , Blue Oyster Cult, Aaliyah, New Kids on the Block(!). Also guiltily love the 80s. GO Salt n Pepa! Basically, keep me away from fake pop-punk and modern country (sorry mom), and we'll be good. LOCALS: Paranoid, Random Acts of Violence, Foam N Mesh, Hell Within R.I.P. Breedinground, One Short Breath and T*House of the Almighty

Movies:

"Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?", Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2, Blow, Stigmata, ANYTHING by Vincent Price, Pink Floyd's The Wall, Dodgeball, Austin Powers trilogy. Wayne's World is the movie I can recite word for word. I will basically sit down and watch almost any kind of movie. I just can't promise I'll stay awake...I'm kind of a narcoleptic sometimes :)

Television:

THE BOSTON RED SOX, Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins (noticing a pattern here?), The Simpsons, Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Drawn Together, House M.D., IN LIVING COLOR! Also a fan of older cartoons like space ghost, hanna barbara super adventures, he-man, thundercats, looney tunes, etc. Much like movies and books, I am open to most tv shows. Except Star Trek. Boooooring.

Books:

Latest favorites are DaVinci Code & Angels & Demons, but I will read anything from a kid's Nancy Drew book to a historical non-fiction essay about the Revolutionary War, and everything in between. Comedies, mystery, suspense, drama, whatever. I'll read the label on the back of a carton of milk if there's nothing else around. The only topic I'm not too drawn to is science fiction, but I've still read a few good ones.

Heroes:

My grandmothers, Mo Vaughn, Susan B. Anthony, Stephanie Seymour, ...oh yah, and you.RIP Layne Staley, Dimebag Darrell, Christopher Wallace
