Modern media has conditioned me to strongly prefer short form and serialized formats, an interactive mode of consumption and collaborative form of creation. This, combined with a residual negative reaction to receiving school reading assignments, has rendered it difficult to undertake or enjoy the novel form, which of course means the bulk of English literature. Meanwhile, 'new media' has not developed to the point that I can find or define stuff good enough to read and be worth mentioning here. Okay, that "I love bees" thing was pretty cool.
Alright, short answer: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and all indications are I'd probably like Terry Pratchett a lot if I ever bother picking up a book again.
this section is dumb.
