BUKITTINGGI UNDERGROUND - INDONESIARAPTOR CORPSERaptor Corpse was formed on February,26th 2004 by Lione and Forbud. Coming from Thrash Metal band, they were inspirited something new and different, beside trying to change Sepultura’s style. Then, they invited Ferry Gore, a vocalist of a brutal death band in Bukittinggi to be their vocalist. At the beginning, they planned to be formatted in three personels only but someone suggested them to to add a bassist and they found Totwo, a Black Metal Guitarist. After 5 month in July 2004 Pandi (Giant) joined with Raptor Corpse as a percussion player. Pandi (Giant) had an idea to change Raptor Corpse Styles into masked style, all of personels agreed and since that time Raptor Corpse has been a masked style band and it was big change of Raptor Corpse. They choose the name “Raptor Corpse” because raptor was an animal with a little body but it was fast, smart and sinister. It was inspirated the name of this band because they hope could be like a Raptor. The genre of Raptor Corpse is Thrash Death Metal Revolution. After having some performance as a guest star in some band festival in Bukittinggi, Anggive joined with Raptor Corpse as a sampling guitar player and make some additional sound in Raptor Corpse. Anggive;s first ferformance was in padang. Then Sevenkick joined with Raptor Corpse as a Despondent Night Chords and Indri as a female voices. Sevenkick keyboard and angelic voice of Indri added Black Metal and Gothic Metal style into Raptor Corpse music Different in idea and mission Indri decided to get out from Raptor Corpse and Totwo had to leave Bukittinggi, so Raptor Corpse had no female vocal and bassist until they found Threesha and Twodie. Threesha came from Gothic Metal band brought a new Gothic Metal style in Raptor Corpse. Twodie from Thrash Metal band Added Thrash Effect in Raptor Corpse. And endlessly Sixa and Areight joined with Raptor Corpse as percussion player to make Raptor Corpse’s music more amazing. One idea and mission endlessly unite all of Raptor Corpse Personels to voice what they feel and improved Underground music!
