Cows, maps, daleks, creatures of the night and cheese.Trying to give up the creatures of the night - but oh, the things I have seen - just ask me about them.
My heros include: Edward the Second - he stuck to who he wanted to stick to despite everything - even to the extent of having a red hot poker up his arse. I wish I was that strong - one day I will be. I would also like to meet Peter Tatchell, for similar reasons (though so far I think he's escaped the red hot poker!) - what he did in the face of Robert Mugabe's thugs was brave. Would also like to meet the Queen - she knows how to keep a promise. Joanna Lumley - for foregoing the surgeon's knive for yet another year. Patrick Moore, for being so bloody enthusiastic. Magnus Pyke for being bloody enthusiastic with arms. Richard Dawkins, for telling the truth.I also like that guy that presented Popworld (Simon Amstell??) for asking Gwen Steffani if she likes cheese because he had some in his pocket - and her non-plussed reply... width="425" height="350" ..
Everything from Chimpan A to Chimpan Zee.OK then: Any female singer, Annie Lennox, Kate Bush, Karen Carpenter, Yumi Matsutoya, Debbie Harry, even Madonna. Any band that has guitars in it. Any music that pulls the heart strings.
Saw 'Road to Perdition' this week and thought it was ace.Films I like include: The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover, Legally Blonde, Tonari no Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Shall we Dance (Japanese version), Big Eden and Whisky Galore. The Lost Language of Cranes had a massive impact at the time.
